What Do You Do With A Kangaroo?

Bo Bunny invited scrappers to make a layout with the title from a book.  I took this photo at Australia Zoo.  Seriously if a kangaroo is going to lay on the ground like that then I am going to get a photo of my daughter lying beside it!!  It was just too funny!  So I used the title "What Do You Do With A Kangaroo" from a book written by Mercer Mayer.  My Bo Bunny stash is seriously in need of restocking so I mixed and matched two collections.  Mama-razzi 2 and Vicki B.

Genuinely Andrew

This layout is based on the MME May Sketch.  I had so much fun.  This is one sketch that I think I will do a few times because I can see many variations of the sketch in my mind.  Don't you love the photo?!  Andrew was at the beach after we had been to a nursing home to visit our old neighbor.  The ladies there get a kick out of seeing the kids dressed up a bit so that is why Andrew is in good pants and a little vest.  After we had seen Mrs Stayples (which was really sad this time since she didn't really remember us) we went to the beach near the home.  It was one of those photo's that was just begging to be taken.  The page is all MME paper except the basil cardstock and the letters spelling Andrew.

Love - Emmy

These were photo's of my little girl on a spinning ring at a park.  I have no idea what you would call that round thing.  She spent ages on it getting her balance and playing.  The paper is all Kaisercraft (Summer Breeze Collection) with some older Kaisercraft stamps and a watch face filled with micro beads. I am just sorry that the photo's of the layout are blurry   It is a cold, cloudy day and I can't get a good shot.

Page Maps inspired card

Page Maps and Shanna Vineyard have asked for people to make their own stamps and use them on a layout or card inspired by Page Maps.  Since I am starting to really get into cards I thought I would do that.  It was more of a challenge than I expected.  I used a Stampin Up punch and punched a bird, then drew it onto foam and used it like Shanna suggested as a stamp.  So the background of the card is stamped all over with birds.  I wanted to continue that bird theme so I punched a bird out of the foil that seals the top of a Milo tin.  I ran it through the embosser and then dabbed brown and rusty red paint on it till I was happy.  The papers are all My Minds Eye.  It was a lot of fun stepping outside the square and trying to make a product work in more than one way.
